This Deuter product is free from perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemical products. Deuter therefore reduces the use of polluting substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFCs are used, among others, as a coating to protect against the rain as they have waterproof, anti-smudge and anti-grease properties.

Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) treatment which is harmless for health and the environment.
